SUMMER 2026 AERIAL CAMP

EARLY BIRD BEFORE 4/15 $400, AFTER 4/19 $450

SESSION II: AUGUST 10-14

Come hang with the Radical Movement Factory staff and friends this summer climbing, spinning, playing and dancing!We’ll explore foundational and beginner/intermediate aerial skills on silks, trapeze and hoop. Dance, circus prop manipulation and acrobatic sessions will also be sprinkled throughout the week. One day each week we’ll break out from the studio after our morning aerial session to walk to Natural Bridges Beach! Final day concludes with a casual ‘demo’ performance of some of our skills!  Newly added August camp session still available for early bird rate through May 31st. TEEN & ADULT INT/ADVANCED

AERIAL INTENSIVE & PHOTOSHOOT

The first day, Saturday, we’ll be taking multiple aerial workshops led by Emily Knoblauch and Karri Pelz, We’ll continue studying vertical apparatus (silks & rope) as well as explore lyra (aerial hoop).  Previous experience on silks/rope necessary.  No previous experience on lyra necessary.

Prerequisites: ability to invert consecutively in the air from bent arms and back to bent arms, proficiency in hip keys and familiarity with basic beats.

Sunday we will have an aerial session, followed by time to create shapes and plan our photoshoot poses.  Participants will have time for art while pairs rotate through during their photoshoot with Rose Calucchia. You will get 5 fully edited images after the workshop with the option to purchase additional shots from Rose, if you choose.

The weekend is meant to be taken as a whole, rather than a single day. If you’re interested in the single day option, email first as initial registration will be open to full weekend participants.  Please contact us for any questions.
